John was
born in London but for the last thirty years has made Norwich his home. He
studied singing under John Carol Case and Ian Partridge, at the same time
gaining two music degrees from the University of East Anglia. John is now
widely known in Norfolk as both a singing teacher and choral conductor and
has been the musical director and conductor of Keswick Hall Choir since 1982.

Keswick Hall
Choir is affiliated to ‘Making Music’ (previously National Federation of
Music Societies), which represents and supports amateur vocal, instrumental
and promoting societies throughout the United kingdom. The choir is
grateful for financial assistance received from Eastern Arts Board
(administered by Making Music, Eastern Region).
