Over the years the
choir has gained an enviable reputation for the variety of its
repertoire and the quality of its performances. The choir
often attracts leading professional orchestras and artists from
outside East Anglia and will again, later this year, be presenting a
concert with the Brook Street Band on original instruments.
For a small choir, the cost of mounting such concerts is significant
and continues to rise whilst any available public funding is sought
by increasing numbers of organisations.
As well as the 'Friends'
organisation the choir also operates a '200 Club' to raise
additional funds.
The Keswick Hall
Choir 200 Club is a valuable means of fund raising for the
choir, and goes some way to enabling the choir to put on works such
as St Matthew Passion, Judas Maccabæus etc.
For as little as £2
per calendar month, you would be helping us enormously – and you
could win one of the monthly cash prizes.
